Treat Electromagnetic Hypersensitivity

Treat Electromagnetic Hypersensitivity

It turns out, you can develop electromagnetic hypersensitivity (EHS) from frequent use of tech gadgets–including your smartphone, tablet, laptop, TV and even Wi-Fi routers.

While there is no conclusive list of EHS symptoms, patients report a variety of physical indicators like nausea, fatigue and headaches, skin problems, memory loss, panic attacks and confusion.

It’s estimated that EHS has affected a few cases per million to up to 5% of the population, depending on the location and definition of the condition. Consequently, there have been groups who are finding ways on how to treat their sensitivity to electromagnetic frequency radiation. Here are some of the most common cures for EHS.

1. Limit exposure

Tech gadgets emit harmful radiation that can cause health problems linked to hypersensitivity. The symptoms can vary, but it usually includes sleep disturbance, tiredness, depression, headaches, restlessness, irritability, concentration problems, forgetfulness, frequent infections, blood pressure changes, hearing loss, and eye problems. There have been reports of cardiovascular problems such as tachycardia, though these are relatively rare. While we can’t completely get rid of our smartphones and tablets, we can treat EHS by limiting radiation exposure from these sources.

Radiation exposure can be reduced simply by limiting the length of your exposure to the sources. Short term exposure may not have the same dire effect to human health as sustained, long-term exposure, but in order to ensure this, you have to make sure that you’re reducing your overall exposure to radiation emitting gadgets as well.

As part of this effort, turn gadgets off when they aren’t in use, especially when you’re asleep. Switch computers off as well. Don’t just close your laptop shut, make the effort to turn your laptops off. Take frequent breaks when you’re using your devices to reduce your exposure, and avoid bringing your gadgets to bed before you sleep to lower adverse effects.

2. Use protective products.

If it’s impossible to put your phone down, the next best thing would be to use protective products that block EMF radiation. You can lower the risk of radiation exposure you would typically get from constant usage by just using accessories that will shield you from the source.

Get a smartphone and tablet case that can protect both your gadgets and yourself by deflecting the radiation it emits.

In doing so, you are lowering the risk of electromagnetic hypersensitivity because the radiation from gadgets will be blocked by the cases.

3. Take your gadgets out of the bedroom.

One of the symptoms of electromagnetic hypersensitivity is when you notice that suddenly, you can’t sleep all that well. This is because the frequencies from these gadgets can disrupt your sleep patterns, causing you insomnia or other sleep challenges.

If possible, remove as many of your devices from your bedroom. Take your smartphone, tablets, laptops and other gadgets out of the immediate vicinity of your bed. There are instances where you need certain devices close by, such as baby monitors. In such cases, be sure you use appropriate shielding accessories, such as anti-radiation baby blankets for your child to protect them against the potentially harmful effects of radiation at this vulnerable stage of life.

4. Eat healthy.

Electromagnetic exposure can make you develop food sensitivities you did not have before. To minimize the risk, eat organic foods and adhere to a rotary diet to minimize food sensitivities.

Instead of just drinking water from the tap, opt for spring, distilled, or filtered water. Some EHS patients can tolerate distilled water better than tap because of its lack of minerals.

5. Exercise regularly.

EHS symptoms can include fatigue, headaches, and some cardiovascular problems. You can manage these occurrences by exercising regularly. If the body is strong, it can combat EMF sensitivities easier.

For example, if you feel lethargic all the time, try going for a run. It will keep the heart pumping and aid in blood circulation. Exercise also releases endorphins from the brain, keeping you happier and more energized.

Treating EHS is a lot like treating allergies. You should be aware of the source and find ways to work around the risks without altering your life completely. By knowing your treatment options – limiting exposure, using protective products, eating healthy and exercising regularly – you can still use your favorite gadgets and devices without worry.

Protect Yourself from Mobile phone Radiation

Exposure to radiation from cell phones is a growing concern, not only in the United States, but around the world. As more and more studies point towards a link between cell phone radiation and headaches, certain types of cancer and even lowered sperm count, consumers are searching for ways to protect themselves from this potential threat.

As is known, radiation is harmful to our body. It has different harm levels for different people. Practices have proved that the following people will be easily harmed:

1. Children, children are growing and their immune systems have not completely grown yet. So the radiation harm they suffer is the highest one
2. Patients especially those suffering from heart disease or high blood pressure
3. Pregnant women
4. People who have bad physical quality and weak immune system
5. Elders
6. White collars and business men
